Daily Debate: Who Should be the Main Villain of Zelda U?

As we bite our nails with anticipation for more news on the upcoming Zelda U title, we can speculate on what elements the latest installment in the Zelda series will contain. For instance, will we see a new Zelda villain?

If you give credit to the popular theory of Zelda U being a Skyward Sword sequel, this would be the very first appearance of Ganon in the official timeline. If you are a supporter of the theory that Zelda U is a Skyward Sword prequel, we could see Demise before he was temporarily vanquished. Either way, I think Zelda U is going to be a pretty awesome game.

We could see the return of The Minish Cap‘s Vaati, who would be welcomed back by the Zelda community with open arms. To see Vaati in glorious HD would overjoy some fans. I, for one, would love to see Vaati make an appearance in Zelda U.

We could consider that, much like Skyward Sword, Zelda U may have its own original, never-before-seen evil antagonist. The potential of this evil antagonist is endless. It could even be the third main female villain of the Zelda series, and the second main female villain that is considered canon.
