Daily Debate: Which Zelda Theory Do You Most Want to Be True, and Why?

If you’re like me and enjoy the Zelda series’ lore, you probably also have interest in theorizing on the games. I’ve kept up with Zelda theories for over a decade now, witnessing some that seem very plausible. We all probably have one or a few that stick out to us, and maybe wish were true. Now, if you could pick one theory to be true, which would it be, and why would you choose it?
I think I would pick the theory that the Stone Tower Temple in Termina was built to kill the gods. I’d go with it because I feel it gives that land some interesting backstory if true, especially if it once had a Triforce but the gods revoked their privilege of having one due to their crime. It also gives the planet’s destruction by the moon some extra depth – it was going to be doomed provided that Link didn’t end up in Termina.
But which theory is your pick, and why are you choosing it? Sound off in the comments below!
