Daily Debate: What Would Link’s Finishing Move Be In Wrestling?

There’s no denying we here at Zelda Dungeon are huge fans of wrestling. It’s a pretty neat form of entertainment, after all. As much actors as fighters, wrestling is its own category of skill. That being said, one of the most important assets of any wrestler is their finishing move. Whether we’re talking about the Bautista Bomb or the People’s Elbow, a finishing move has to have impact and aplomb.

One can’t simply smack his opponent and call a fight done. A wrestler must bring his opponent to his knees. Preferably with tears glistening down their cheeks as they beg for mercy. But Link has arguably only had a small experience as a wrestler with some Gorons in Twilight Princess. Would he utilize sumo techniques to finish his opponents? Perhaps his acrobatic nature would serve him well by gripping his opponents neck and then triple-flipping off the ropes to land his opponent’s head face-first into the stage for some rug burn would be more his style. Who knows? You guys do.
