Daily Debate: What Was Your Favorite Magic Medallion in A Link to the Past?

The Magic Medallions – Bombos, Ether, and Quake – are unique items that have only appeared in A Link to the Past and Four Swords Adventures. Two of the three medallions are vital to the story progression of A Link to the Past and can unleash devastating spells. But as a plus, not only are these items necessary to complete the story, all three Magic Medallions are very useful items that can be used to clear out dungeon rooms and even access new locations like Turtle Rock.
Personally, the Medallion with my favorite aesthetic and attack is the Bombos Medallion. Setting enemies on fire is just way too fun, and its utility is really handy for clearing out areas with many enemies in one fell swoop. It’s kind of a shame that these Medallions haven’t returned in more recent Zelda games; in a 3D setting, I could see these items being absolutely devastating and god-like. Maybe they’re just too good, but I always enjoyed the utility the Medallions offered outside of their story function. What do you think?
