Daily Debate: Should Nintendo Create a Sheik Spin-Off Game?

Here at Zelda Informer, we are always talking about Zelda‘s spin-off titles, such as Tingle’s Rosy Rupee Land and Hyrule Warriors. Just a few days ago, we talked about two little-know spin-off games in the 90s that were playable with a Famicom add-on.

Nintendo says that more spin-off games will be in development this year, so why not another Legend of Zelda game? A common spin-off title I see fans frequently saying they want is a Shiek game. Many fans would like a game starring Sheik, specifically during the years Link was asleep during Ganondorf‘s takeover in Ocarina of Time.

A Sheik spin-off game has many possibilities. I don’t know about you, but I would want the game to be 100% canon in the Zelda universe, as well as earning a spot in the official timeline. Link doesn’t even have to be in the game. After all, it is the Legend of Zelda.
