Daily Debate: Did You Enjoy Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey More?

2017 was a massive year for Nintendo. The launch window for the Switch included two entries into their two tent pole franchises that are being held as potentially the best in their respective series. The way both Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey are being received has many people drawing comparisons. Comparisons not only in their quality, but also for what elements of their series they have innovated.

Breath of the Wild was a bold step forward for The Legend of Zelda. In my opinion it was a step in a positive direction. On the other hand, I’m currently in the middle of playing Odyssey, and every moment is pure joy. If I were somehow forced to pick between the two, I don’t know what I would do!
