Daily Debate: Could Link Save Other Fantasy Worlds?

Our flaxen-haired hero has seen plenty of horrors in his time; Giant spiders, ghosts, amorphous water creatures, and the moon defying all physics to crush a small town. Yet, through it all, Link has persevered with cunning, weaponry, and a bit of magic. Hyrule really is in good hands.
With all that expertise and robust catalogue of armaments, could Link be the hero in other fantasy worlds? Link has had a few cameos in other games, yet in none of these titles is he cast in the role of hero. For example, in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Link is a happy little Easter egg content to sleep through all the action.
Which worlds do you believe Link would excel in? Could he stop the numerous crisis afflicting Azeroth in the Warcraft universe? Is he skilled enough to take the place of a Witcher?
