Though Nintendo hasn’t embraced major celebrations of the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise, fans around the world have stepped up to acknowledge the significant milestone. Art, cosplay, definitive ranking lists, and so much more–gamers everywhere have joined in an acknowledgement of just how impactful the Nintendo franchise has been. In some ways, the lack of a centralized celebration has led to a rich variety of offerings to mark the special year.
For those who love the music of Zelda, particularly those with a soft spot for Ocarina of Time, the symphonic cover is pure joy. Kunning Fox uses the music composed by Koji Kondo and invites fans to “Revisit [their] childhood with 12 covers of music from the highly acclaimed Nintendo 64 classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, performed by the professional Russian orchestra Art Music Orchestra and recorded at the FlySound studio.”
Tell us what you think! Did you enjoy this cover of music from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time? What other Zelda games would you like to see covered by Kunning Fox? Share your reactions in the comments below.
