Commonwealth Realm Takes a Look into What the Next Zelda Game Could Bring Post-Breath of the Wild

Thanks to the overwhelming success that Breath of the Wild has accomplished, the future looks very bright for the Zelda series. With the newest game in the franchise setting a restored foundation for Hyrule, it’s only a matter of time before we get hyped once more when Link returns again. Speaking of what lies ahead, one team of Zelda theorists recently looked into what the future can possibly hold after the Hero of the Calamity’s journey.
Just like with most Zelda fans out there, the guys over at Commonwealth Realm have finished up The Champion’s Ballad DLC and are looking at what Nintendo has planned for the future of the series. Series producer Eiji Aonuma has promised that they are already hard at work on the next game, so Commonwealth has released a video looking into the possibilities of what that title could bring.
In this video, Commonwealth Realm analyzes the setting, bosses, enemies, gameplay, story, and themes from Breath of the Wild that should/shouldn’t be in the next title, emphasizing what needs to be improved upon. They cover a lot of the gripes some fans have with the game, including the rain, dungeon designs & bosses (except on in The Champions’ Ballad), the English voice acting, and the Calamity Ganon boss fight.
What do you think of this video? Is there anything you think Commonwealth Realm may have missed? Let us know in the comments below!
