With Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition only a week away, Nintendo has released yet another trailer highlighting playable characters smashing through the battlefields. The video features two pairs of characters, each pair from a different Zelda game.

The first pair showcased in the video is Fi, Spirit of the Sword, and Demon Lord Ghirahim from Skyward Sword. Both their tactics seem to involve the use of swords (obviously), with Ghirahim also having the ability so summon minions to charge forward.

The second pair comes from A Link Between Worlds: the travelling merchant Ravio and the Artsy Sorcerer of Lorule, Yuga. While Ravio seems to make more use of blunt attacks with his hammer, Yuga takes a more cunning approach and subtle attacks, using his portrification ability as his ultimate attack.

And of course, no trailer is complete without the recurring villain of the Zelda franchise, the Demon King Ganondorf himself. Combining swordplay and dark magic attacks, Ganondorf is tearing up the battlefield like no other.
