I used to think I was a pretty good dad; I’m proud of my son, I make sure to give him as much affection as I can, and I’ve started to bond with him over our shared love of video games. Apparently I’m not as great as I thought I was though, because I haven’t made a faithfully recreated, fully-functional playhouse for him in the style of Link’s home from Breath of the Wild.

Donovan over at the YouTube channel Once Upon A Workbench has done just that. Chronicling the process from start to finish, we can see how monumental of an endeavor it was to construct. The attention to detail and level of craftsmanship that went into the project is incredible, and I can only imagine the number of hours that went into its assembly. Wonderful little nods to Breath of the Wild are peppered in throughout the video, including occasional moments in which the game itself is consulted to ensure that the playhouse is as authentic as possible.

So what do you think of this Breath of the Wild-inspired playhouse? Are you going to make an attempt at building one of these yourself? Let us know in the comments below!
