Check Out This Epic Cover of Breath of the Wild’s Main Theme

What piece of music do you think of when you think of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild?
For me, Breath of the Wild‘s title theme, which was first revealed during the 2017 E3 trailer, is the most iconic piece of music from the game. The title theme has moments of pure ambiance and, along with its distinct instrumentation, the song helps to differentiate Breath of the Wild from many previous games in the Zelda series.
Despite only being a year old, the music of Breath of the Wild already has a passionate following in the Zelda fan community. Many musicians and remixers have already started to put their own spins on the game’s beautiful music, which has resulted in many exciting and surprising new musical medleys and arrangements. This remix by RoeTaKa from OverClocked Remix, for example, is a beautiful blend of the more traditional and epic sound that many previous games in the Legend of Zelda series are known for and the fresh new sound that helped Breath of the Wild break away from its predecessors.
The most exciting thing about this arrangement is the way the RoeTaKa mixes up music from the different Zelda games. It takes the classic Zelda Overworld theme, Breath of the Wild‘s theme, and even “Zelda’s Lullaby,” and it fuses them together into a rousing and beautiful mix. The song is upbeat, with a strong tempo and energy to it, which helps make it feel very lively and exciting.
