Check Out This Epic A Link to the Past Piano Medley
Posted on October 11 2018 by Sean Gadus
A Link to the Past is one of the most important games in the Legend of Zelda series. The game cemented and perfected many of gameplay mechanics that were introduced in the original 1986 classic. Additionally, the game established several key music motifs that would become series mainstays, appearing in multiple games moving forward.
In this comprehensive and thorough medley, Laurence Manning creates an incredible rendition of many wonderful songs from A Link to the Past, linking them together into a single nine minute video. This medley includes such as iconic songs as: the title theme, “Seal of Seven Maidens”, “Time of the Falling Rain”, “Hyrule Castle”, “Sanctuary”, “The Lost Woods”, “Hyrule Field Main Theme”, “The Dark World Death Mountain”, “Zelda’s Lullaby”, Ganon’s theme, and Ganon’s battle theme. It’s an incredible selection of songs, with each tune being recreated faithfully on the piano.
This is one of the more extensive medleys I’ve heard, and it honors A Link to the Past with great presentation, thorough song selection, and wonderful arrangements of some of the game’s best tracks.
