Check Out This 8-Bit Arrangement of the Monk Maz Koshia Theme from Breath of the Wild

There’s no doubt that the Monk Maz Koshia boss fight from Breath of the Wild’s DLC expansion pack The Champions’ Ballad is the best big bad encounter of the game. It’s not only the most challenging, but the fight really tests all of the skills you’ve learned throughout the base game. One of the other great things about the Monk Maz Koshia boss fight is the music, which feels like an alternative extension of the Guardians theme.
With its frantic and cyberpunk-esque style, it’s no wonder that throwing some classic NES tones into the mix makes this music all the more exciting. That’s what MOdern NOise brings with their 8-Bit Arrangement of “Monk Maz Koshia (Phase 1)” from The Champions’ Ballad. Aside from the unique visuals the video provides, this arrangement sounds like it could easily come from the original The Legend of Zelda or even The Adventure of Link.
This up-and-coming musical content creator has also produced an 8-bit arrangement of the Mabe Village Theme from Link’s Awakening and quite a few arrangements inspired by the Pokémon series. MOdern NOise definitely seems like a channel you should keep your eyes on.
