Hey there, Zelda fans! It’s time for a special edition of Zelda Dungeon’s Caption Contest! In honor of Tears of the Kingdom‘s first birthday, we’re going to be giving away prizes to next week’s winners! The winner of each of our three contest categories — Photo Caption, Photoshop, and Non-Photo Caption — will win something from the prize bag next week. So be sure to enter your best quips in the comments below and vote for your favorite submissions too.

Last Week’s Contest:

I promised to only feature Tears of the Kingdom images for an entire year. Last week’s contest marked the fulfillment of that promise.

Here are our photoshop caption winners:

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • IceRod: Me talking trash to someone way stronger than me with my taller, more intimidating friend behind me.
  • L3XI0: Me and my manager who’s about to repeat the same exact thing I said to the customer.
  • Sage of Fire: We have Mineru at home
    Mineru at home:
  • TheZoraMask46: *Soldier Construct* That’s him dad! *Piano solo intensifies*
  • Decapitationtrain: Still a better Mecha than Mineru.

This Week’s Contest:

We’ll announce three prize winners next week, one for each of our three categories. Good luck to all our participants!

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
