Caption Contest 396: Mega Powers

What is happening, Zelda fans?! Let us kick off another Caption Contest before we all get caught up in the holiday weekend frenzy.

I hope you all found a chance to check out the 2023 edition of Best Zelda Ever, where the best and brightest at Zelda Dungeon ranked every single Zelda game from worst to best. There were upsets, there were surprises, and a certain new title known as Tears of the Kingdom made a historic debut on the list. To honor Tears‘ impressive BZE performance, let’s take a look at another screenshot from the game in this week’s contest.

Last Week’s Contest:

Last week’s entries had us… rolling.

Here are our photoshop caption winners:

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Eggcelent Guardian: Link’s search history:
“How to make an engagement ring for your dragon fiancée”
  • IceRod: When you get “on a roll” fusing stuff together…. “Do nut” tell me it’s not distracting and fun.
  • New Zelda Lover: Pov doctor strange rip-off in zelda…
  • Son of Gondor: This brings a whole new meaning to “reinventing the wheel.”
  • pyridiss: I should stop watching videos of DIY Mother’s Day gift ideas on Youtube

This Week’s Contest:

Obligatory reference to 1980’s professional wrestling tag team The Mega Powers.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
