It’s almost here, Zelda fans! Tears of the Kingdom‘s release date is just days away! And in honor of such a huge occasion, we’re cracking open the Zelda Dungeon prize bag for this week’s Caption Contest! The winner of each of our three contest categories — Photo Caption, Photoshop, and Non-Photo Caption — will win something from the prize bag. So be sure to enter your best quips in the comments below and vote for your favorite submissions too.

We tried to plug a leak last week.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Kestron: I’ve heard of a heart attack but this is a little ridiculous
  • Hero Of Time: After many years of being alive while Ganondorf was mummified, we find out that his chest hair has grown a considerable amount and as it turns out from the recent leak, its the final boss.
  • Snorlax: yOU SaiD tAcO bELL WouLd bE fINe
  • John Piland: New Zelda Leak: Link and Tetra in serious trouble, as ship springs a leak in the middle of the Great Sea
  • IceRod: The “childish” Wind Waker’s Link stabbing Ganondorf right in the head was still more hardcore!

This Week’s Contest:

We’ll announce three prize winners next week, one for each of our three categories. Good luck to all our participants!

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
