What is happening, Zelda fans?! Are you all ready for another exciting edition of Zelda Dungeon’s Caption Contest? We’ve been highlighting various Tears of the Kingdom screenshots the past several weeks, and I’m starting to realize a certain theme among the big batch of images that came out of the game’s latest trailer. Just about every promotional screenshot released by Nintendo last month features an enemy, antagonist, or threat of some kind, which makes sense given that they all came out of a trailer narrated by the game’s big bad. In any case, this chain of evil continues with this week’s contest image, which features a harrowing Hinox.

Last Week’s Contest:

Link became a racecar driver last week.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Dylan Wallach: “Oh man, Mario’s going to flip when he sees what I did to his kart.'”
  • IceRod: This John “Tear” product placement is getting out of control.
  • Tober: That thing is going to need a lot of apples.
  • JDAT: Rolling around at the speed of sound
Got places to go, gotta follow my rainbow
  • Hamishator: Here we have the newest member to the transformers

This Week’s Contest:

I’m getting Crash Bandicoot vibes from this image.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
