Hello there, Zelda fans from across the globe! I hope you’re ready for another exciting edition of Zelda Dungeon’s Caption Contest! So I realized something this morning: even though we’re already halfway through October, I haven’t featured a single spooky image for the contest in honor of Halloween season. I guess that’s what happens when you have a new Hyrule Warriors title coming out in a few weeks and you want to use screenshots from that game. But this week’s contest will kill two Cuccos with one stone! We’re highlighting this spooky and mysterious screenshot from last week’s Age of Calamity trailer.

Last Week’s Contest:

Purah gave off some Millennial energy last week.

By: Multificionado

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • HEreCTOR: “Spiderman fans be like:”
  • Dylan: “Before the Snap! there was the “Check it!” Purrah has always been a rocker!”
  • Ben Kuvshinikov: “Sharing your costume online like”
  • IceRod: “Sign language for even when I am over one hundred years old I will kick @$$.”
  • Tober: “Hyrule dance contest begins”

This Week’s Contest:

Who do think this mysterious cloaked figure is?

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
