It’s that time again, everyone! I hope you’re ready to kick off another exciting edition of Zelda Dungeon’s weekly Caption Contest! For the past few weeks, we’ve been running a series of articles called Legendary Pictures, in which we shine a spotlight on movies that remind us of The Legend of Zelda. Quite unexpectedly, two of our writers actually wrote about the Star Wars films and their similarities to the Zelda series. Star Wars has been on my mind ever since, so I just had bring something from the galaxy far, far away into this week’s contest.

Last Week’s Contest:

Inspired by Legendary Pictures, last week’s contest featured a still from a supposed Zelda movie pitch by Imagi Studios.

Here are our photoshop caption winners:

By: Ultima Link

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Undercover Gamer: That face you make when someone says the Zelda manga is cannon
  • Ashtyn Benesh: When you find out Nintendo made another Zelda remake instead of adding on to the series.
  • IceRod: The CD-i games finally get that facelift they so badly needed….
  • HylianHero33: When they say “I love Zelda’s little green hat!”
  • Rob: When someone says “The only Zelda game I like is Tri Force Heroes.”

This Week’s Contest:

Hopefully Link doesn’t get cut in half like a certain Sith we know.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
