Hey, all you Zelda fans! It wouldn’t be the most wonderful time of the year without a Christmas edition of Zelda Dungeon’s Caption Contest. It seems lot of lucky folks will be getting a white Christmas this year, (the best I’ll get is a wet Christmas…), so I hope everyone is prepared for the bitter cold that comes along with a glistening winter wonderland. Don’t be like our hero Link, who decided to play in the snow dressed in only shorts and a t-shirt.

Our Last Contest:

I skipped last week due to all the Christmas-time mania, but I’m back to reveal the winners of this 8-bit contest.

Here are our photoshop caption winners:

By: Multificionado

And here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • IceRod: “Super(mario)brothers: Sword & Sworcery”
  • HylianHero33: “Whosoever shall wield this sword, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of the Hero.”
  • Undercover Gamer: “So would Mario need 13 mushrooms to pull the Master Sword?”
  • Iron Tallican: Mario: *Grunt* *Grunt* *pant* *Sigh*. Itsa stuck.
  • LinkLink: “Links Ultimate Troll Level (thwamp flattens Mario as he tries to pull out master sword)”

This Week’s Contest:

Where’s your Christmas spirit, Link?

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
