Caption Contest 198: “I better not have a concussion.”
Posted on January 28 2019 by Rod Lloyd
Howdy, all you fine people. I hope you’re ready for another fun-filled Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been out for almost two months at this point, and I’m still finding little things to appreciate about it. For instance, did you know that Kirby can sometimes turn into a chest from Breath of the Wild when using his Stone attack? The game is just full of minor details that really hammer home the fact that it’s the ultimate Nintendo crossover. And for that reason, this week’s contest will feature such a minor detail.
Last Week’s Contest:
We celebrated the emergence of a real-life Blood Moon by looking at Breath of the Wild‘s Blood Moon last week.
By: Qun Mang
And here our non-photo caption winners:
- Corey R: “He’s got the whoooooole blood moon, in his skeleton hand”
- Christian Beach: “You throw another Blood Moon at me and I’m gonna lose it.”
- Dylan: Link: with this neon Day of The Dead suit, I have the power of the blood moon, in the palm of my hand!! Now to look cool in this selfie for My Girlfriend, Mipha! #CrimsonSkeloton #FishGirl
- Art1st4786: “And the award for Selfie of the Year goes to…”
This Week’s Contest:
I’ve always thought that this Mii Fighter looked like me.
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
