Hey there, everyone. I hope you’re having an excellent Monday and I hope you’re ready for another Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest. Just in case you missed it, a very special lunar eclipse took place last night, producing something called a “super blood wolf moon.” A red-hued lunar body may seem familiar to players of Breath of the Wild, as the game features its own (somewhat terrifying) version of the Blood Moon as an in-game event. We at Zelda Dungeon just couldn’t let this real-life Blood Moon rise and fall without a certain degree of celebration. The Blood Moon already casted shadows on our social media communities yesterday, and it’s time for the Caption Contest to join in.

Last Week’s Contest:

Ken and Koume shared the spotlight last week.

Here our non-photo caption winners:

  • Art1st4786: “Little did they know that Ken and Koume were old flames.”
  • Skip: “When a cute guy approaches you only to ask about your sister.”
  • ninjanunchucks4: “When you and your grandma have bone to pick”
  • IceRod: “The best sitcom pairing since I don’t known when.”
  • HylianHero33: “I guess you could call this the Ken Burns effect.”

This Week’s Contest:

Don’t forget that you can enter the contest by uploading an image in the comments below, or by simply typing your caption in the comments of course.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
