Brighten Your Room with this Cozy Light Dragon Rug
Posted on March 03 2024 by John Piland
Looking for more Zelda merch to spruce up your room, but tired of plushies and figures? If so, this fan-made Light Dragon rug could be just what you need.
From the beautiful yarn work of Kawaii Tufts & Tales, this acrylic yarn rug comes in at “28.5 x 20” and is sure to warm your feet or brighten your room on a cold, dull day. If the color or size aren’t quite your speed, worry not, for customization options are available. What’s more, with a non-slip backing, you won’t need to shed any tears over the rug moving around on wood or tile floors. Excluding tax and any size personalization, this rug can be yours for $205.00 USD.
I’ve seen many Zelda fan-crafts over the years, and this ranks among the best. It’s not often that rugs are seen among fan projects, making this a welcome change of pace. With great attention to detail, the colors reflect the vibrancy of the dragon’s eye in-game. I’ll have to keep this craft in mind for a housewarming gift the next time I move.
A woman-owned business out of Southeast Louisiana, Kawaii Tufts & Tales features a variety of rugs and stickers representing many fandoms and interests from games, to animals, and even fruit. Their Zelda collection isn’t limited to the Light Dragon either, featuring also a Rupee rug and Blupee sticker. If what you see here is something you like, be sure to give their shop a visit.

John has been a Zelda fan for over 10 years now and is proud to say the series has had a major impact on his life (and wallet). After years of going to Zelda Dungeon for guides or the latest news on the series, John achieved their dream when they joined the writing team in 2019; John can hardly believe how long it’s been. A librarian, he loves meticulously arranging his library of Zelda games and collectibles. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for Tears of the Kingdom, John looks forward to the future of the Zelda franchise with enthusiasm, whether that’s the upcoming movie, a new spin-off/remake, or the next big game.
