Spirit Tracks is Zelda‘s second foray into the world of the Nintendo DS, with Phantom Hourglass being the first. Despite what has been said about “Link’s Great Train Adventure”, the game is still considered by many to be a fun experience overall. But what kind of secrets are yet to be discovered about this DS title? I guess it’s time to take a much deeper dive into what makes the train in Spirit Tracks chug along.
A little over a month ago, the YouTube show Boundary Break, produced by Shesez, decided to take a dive behind the scenes in Spirit Tracks. This episode was done to celebrate November’s Zelda Month, in which content creators across the internet honor our favorite game series. Accompanied by Peanut Butter Gamer, Shesez gets right into what lies on the other side of this game’s invisible walls.
Just like with any other episode of Boundary Break, Shesez finds quite a number of items that the everyday gamer was never meant to see. This includes how Spirit Tracks’ opening introduction works, how Link is part-ninja when changing clothes, what happens off-camera after our hero gets knocked around, the overworld’s camera tricks, and more.
What do you think of this Spirit Tracks-filled episode of Boundary Break? Were there any hidden items that you were surprised at? Let us know in the comments below!
