This post will contain minor spoilers for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The comment section may also contain spoilers. Proceed with caution.    I knew from its reveal that the Fuse ability would be one of my favorites in Tears of the Kingdom. Sure enough, it is. Enemies are greater and stronger this time, making power and durability key in surviving the wild. As a result of the Upheaval, weapons are overall weaker than they were in…

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may be all the rage right now, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to forget Breath of the Wild. Although it’s been available to purchase for some time, this officially licensed Power A Nintendo Switch Protection Case is still the perfect form of console protection for fans of Hyrule’s Champions. Its vivid colors and fan-favorite characters make it great for any outing with your Sheikah Slate — or rather, Nintendo Switch. Most…

The long-awaited day is finally here, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is out! It’s hard to believe that it’s actually out and the waiting is over. This is the ending of one era, and the beginning of another, for the Legend of Zelda franchise. For some, it may be hours; for some, days; for some weeks; and for some, maybe even months. What’s certain is that the foreseeable future for the Zelda fandom will be fueled…

In a shocking revelation, composer of many Zelda projects, Ryo Nagamatsu, has left Nintendo for new horizons. Nagamatsu’s departure comes after 17 years with Nintendo, where he worked on titles such as Tri Force Heroes, A Link Between Worlds, Link’s Awakening (2019), Mario Kart 8, and Splatoon 2 and 3. Leaving on good terms, Nagamatsu expressed on Twitter that he aims to “work a little wider and more directly” for those who need his help and to “help the industry.”  …

Nothing is known about the fate of the Yiga Clan following the events of Breath of the Wild. All the game really reveals about the mysterious warriors is that they are descended from a faction of Sheikah who turned against the Royal Family of Hyrule after an ancient king’s discrimination against the Sheikah. That, and their undying love for Calamity Ganon, bananas, and their stupendous chief, Master Kohga. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, on the other hand, shed a lot…

If one thing’s clear about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it’s that the Master Sword will be central to the game’s story. Time and again, trailers and marketing have shown the Sword that Seals the Darkness ceasing to be much of a sword at all. Although yet to be confirmed, it seems there’s a good chance part of Link’s quest will be collecting various Tears to restore the blade. If that’s so, it would be incredibly disappointing…

It wasn’t long after the latest trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that I began searching YouTube in hopes to find that someone had uploaded the new music. Fans were quick to do so, though it seemed like each file still had some remnant of the non-musical sound effects in the trailer. Sure enough, gaming musician Tim de Man was quick to the rescue and wasted no time in pumping out his piano arrangement of the trailer…

The final trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is out, leaving fans at the edge of their seats. I’m still shaking as I try to process everything I saw in the trailer, but I can confidently say that it’s the single most exciting Zelda trailer I’ve ever seen. Yes, even better than the E3 2006 Twilight Princess trailer or 2017 release date trailer for Breath of the Wild. If this trailer has one thing to say, it’s that Tears…
