This year’s final Linktober post feels a little bittersweet to write. I know that it has been such an amazing year for so many people, myself included. As a member of the Linktober community I’ve watched artists come to together and celebrate each other’s accomplishments and the Zelda series as a whole. I’ve watched a community grow and improve and there is just something so very special in that. So, if you’ve been following Artists of Legend this month I just want to give a big thank you for the support! It means a lot to me and everyone that has been featured in posts and on social media all month long.  Now, let’s dive in to the final pieces of Linktober 2023.

Day 29 had artists and creators taking a literal deep dive with “Aquatic/Underwater” as the prompt. Tammy May Cry (@hyliantactician) on Instagram, takes us all the way to The Great Bay with this awesome illustration.

Day 30 on the Main Calendar is a favorite prompt among many with “Favorite Game.” Esther (@estmorzel) on Twitter shares off their favorite game with an image of Ghirahim from Skyward Sword. I love the Halloween vibes with the color, he looks fabulous!

Finally, on the last day of October the calendars had their annual “Free for All” day. I always love seeing the art that comes out at the very end. It’s just a beautiful culmination of everyone’s hard work. Here are a few of my favorites.

Anna’s (@La_bella_Anna) on Twitter’s illustration of Robbie.

A very hauntingly beautiful Rauru from Near 2 You (@n2y88) on Instagram.

And finally, to wrap up this year’s artwork from Linktober 2023. A Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom landscape paint from our very own writing team’s Charles Xavier @VehkSketch on Instagram.

Once again, thank you for joining us for this year’s Artists of Legend x Linktober. Linktober has artistic events year round so be sure to join in the fun on social media, check out their website here, and even join the Linktober community on Discord. It’s been a pleasure sharing art with everyone this year, and I hope to do it again next year. As we say over at Linktober, “May the Triforce be with you.”

Do you have a favorite piece from Linktober 2023’s last days? Do you have a favorite piece from the entire month? Let us know in the comments below.
