Hot chocolate “bombs” have gained popularity over the last few years due to their convenience and tastiness. Essentially, they are chocolate molds with a hollow center that are sometimes filled with mini marshmallows or edible glitter. However, if you have a creative itch, you may find a way to put a Zelda spin on it. YouTube’s Once Upon A Workbench recently released a quick six-minute video detailing the creation of their own Breath of the Wild-inspired hot chocolate bomb. Not only is it delicious, but it also takes the “bomb” part of the name quite literally.

The video starts with a delicious recipe that you can emulate at home, but then goes into detail on how the actual bomb was created. By using a 3D printer, Once Upon A Workbench was able to print a shell and then create a mold with chocolate. The mold was then filled with the hot chocolate recipe and left to cool. Once it was cooled, the bomb was plopped into hot milk, and out emerged a tasty treat.

You can do this, too. Thanks to the video, all the steps needed to create your own bomb are nicely laid out. But if you don’t have access to a 3D printer, or just want to enjoy hot chocolate without the extra steps, check out this video from last year. It has all the instructions you need to replicate the “Hyrule Hot Chocolate!”

So, while you’re cozying up and sipping on a warm cup of cocoa, why not peruse the rest of One Upon A Workbench’s videos? They have some incredible crafting videos, both Zelda-themed and not!

What did you think of the video? Will you be making your own Zelda hot chocolate bomb? Let us know in the comments below!
