I signed up for HelloFresh recently and it’s sparked a newfound enjoyment for cooking for me. Since then, I’ve been browsing the Internet in search of additional recipes to add to my library of delicious foods to try my hand at. Inevitably my search included video games as well, with games like Final Fantasy XV and Breath of the Wild being a top contender. Not all of the ingredients in these dishes translate to real-world recipes perfectly, but many creative people have found comparable substitutes. And there are so many recipes sprinkled throughout the Zelda series to choose from! I always imagined Grandma’s Soup from The Wind Waker having a savory, rich flavor, the Gourmet Spiced Meat Skewer in Breath of the Wild looks absolutely delicious, and the Curry Pilaf makes my mouth water.

But my top pick for the recipe I want to cook in real life is Yeta’s Soup from Twilight Princess. The marriage of goat cheese, fish, and pumpkin sounds absolutely amazing. The best part is that Nintendo shared the recipe for the dish in celebration of Twilight Princess HD‘s release, and the official recipe sounds delightful. I enjoy cooking soup and saving portions for the week, and the idea of having soup from a Zelda game just feels right. If you could cook any dish from the Zelda series in real life, what would you pick? Let us know in the comments!
