Daily Debate: What About Zelda Gameplay Grabs Your Attention?

Let’s face it. One of the most important aspects of a video game is of course, the gameplay. The Zelda series in particular has had a fair variety in its implementation of mechanics, though until Breath of the Wild the general idea remained consistent. Now with potential sweeping changes to how we view the gameplay of Zelda, we have a lot to be excited for.

That being said, everybody had that one moment where they played their first Zelda game or saw a trailer and thought, “I gotta get this game!” Whether you’re exploring the world and finding items to help you progress your adventure or losing yourself in the puzzles, each one has a good chunk of different ways to play. For me, I enjoyed playing as a character that inhabited a medieval fantasy world and wielded a sword and shield. This only became more appealing with the later releases in the series such as Ocarina of Time and yes, even Skyward Sword!
