Hello again, readers of the Zelda Informer universe. Week 22 of the Fan Art Showdown has arrived, and we’ve got a sizzling hot competition! This week we’re pitting Princess Zelda against her look-a-like counterpart, Princess Hilda, but before we get any further, let’s take a quick flashback to Week 21…

This week we’ve got a stunning Cosplay of the ever so elegant Princess Hilda of A Link Between Worlds. We’ve also added a YouTube video by the model, showcasing the costume for you to see. Something a little bit different to our usual Cosplay of the Week features. The Dark Princess of Lorule is rather enchanting…

Hello everyone! Please do join me for another chapter of Zelda Artist Exposition. This editorial series is designed to shine a spotlight on Zelda fan artists and spread the pleasure of art to this corner of the internet. If any of you have suggestions of people to feature, just comment, and I will try to get to them. Today’s feature is somewhat of an up-and-comer: bellhenge.

Hello, fellow Zelda Dungeoners, and welcome again to Zelda Artist Exposition! This little feature series aims to bring great artists from the Zelda fan artwork community to greater recognition. I search through deviantART, reddit, and blogs to find artists to feature and I’ve compiled quite the list to continue featuring. If you know an artist you think should be featured, leave a comment with the artist’s information. The only requirements are they have to have at least three Zelda-related art…

With the reveal of Hyrule Warriors, it seems that Nintendo is fully willing to expand on the Zelda series’ success outside of the main series. This could mean more spinoffs in the future, but of course, spinoffs have to based on something. In terms of characters, venue, and possibilities of brand new material, A Link Between Worlds seems like the prime candidate for a great side-story. Read more after the jump.

Greetings and salutations! You have found yourself once again at another Zelda Artist Exposition—the feature series where I exhibit a new artist for your viewing pleasure. In case you are new these writings, suggestions are always welcome. If you know of an artist you would like featured, please comment. And if you do not know of someone, comment anyway and show some support. Anyway, our feature for this week is the esteemed UNIesque.

An image posted to Reddit a few days ago shows an excerpt of an interview in Game Informer with Hiromasa Shikata, the Director of A Link Between Worlds.

The image shows the text of a question that asks if there any Majora’s Mask references in A Link Between Worlds that we may have missed. The answer given is,

[Having Majora’s Mask in Link’s house] was a special request from Aonuma’s production team. Now why would they ask us to do that? – Hiromasa Shikata

Is Aonuma planning on doing more in the world of Termina? We can’t be certain, but it looks like the signs might be pointing that way. Read after the jump for more!

Hilda’s theme on Piano

November 30 2013 by Jen

The Legend of Zelda series is known for its beautiful music and memorable character themes. Our newest Zelda character, Hilda, is no exception to this tradition. Hilda’s theme sounds very dark and sad, almost like her theme is a lament.  While this isn’t the most uplifting theme, it is also beautiful and Hilda’s appearance fits it – her dark hair and dress match perfectly with her sad theme. The theme is also very pretty on a piano, and that’s exactly…

In a recent editorial, I theorized that the Dark Triforce might just be an idea, and if Lorule was specifically created to mirror Hyrule, then that idea is still valid. However, if Lorule is a completely new world in its own right, then the Dark Triforce would be a very real object. So if the Dark Triforce is a real object, what could this imply? Just as Lorule appears to be a dark reflection of Hyrule, could this mean that…
