Good day to you all. It’s time again to boot up another entry of ZI’s weekly Caption Contest! Now, I’ve been fighting my internet company for weeks trying to get internet in my new house (explaining my slight absenteeism lately), so I may be a little bitter toward technology at the moment. As a way to cope, this week’s focus will be on everyone’s most hated robot, Scrapper from Skyward Sword. Let’s see what words you can direct at this sarcastic bucket of bolts. Of course, we’ll first need to honor the winners of last week’s contest.

Last Week’s Winners:

The Caption Contest was put to sleep for a few weeks as we transitioned hosts, so we needed to properly wake it up last week.

And here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • BCD: “Zelda: There seems to be a red pole lodged in your ear…”
  • Bevin Boelter: “Zelda: *holding a pair of scissors* Finally… another lock of hair for the scrapbook. <3”
  • Lumian: “Zelda: This time I’ll get his cap for sure.
Link: Don’t think even about it…”
  • Chris Gleason: “Time to feel the power of the Triforce of Wet Willies.”
  • halcyon: “I told you not to drink all that Chateau Romani.”

This Week’s Contest:

I’ve already shared my feelings toward technology lately, so let’s see what you all have to say about this mechanical fellow.

Here are the updated guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • Keep the image as close as possible to its original form (minimal photo editing). This is the Caption Contest, our Photoshop Contest is held on Fridays.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Informer. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Use the image above and leave your caption in the comments section below. If you accidentally post as a guest, simply log in and reply to your comment with your username. If you post your caption as an image, and it doesn’t load, wait 5-10 minutes and check back. It usually just takes a few minutes to load properly. Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites and maybe you will be one of next week’s winners!
