Hello, friends! Zelda Informer’s weekly Photoshop Contest has returned, and we’re ready to receive the community’s greatest graphical creations. This week, amid a flood of new info and artwork, the contest will be to predict story moments from the upcoming Tri Force Heroes. Do you have what it takes to construct a scene from this cooperative Zelda game? Let’s find out! Before I explain the rules however, we’ll of course need to check out the winner’s of last week’s contest: Super Secret Stealth.

Last Week’s Contest:

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was released last week, so last week’s contest was an ode to stealth segments in the Zelda series.

Challenge Mode

I actually offered contestants some variety with last week’s challenge; each artist had to include one of three different Metal Gear-ified Zelda characters. But to my surprise, Challenge Mode veteran Antonio Quiacain included all three in his entry. Coming between Punished Snake and his mission objective are none other than cyborg ninja Sheik, Big Boss Ganon, and the nuclear-armed bipedal Tingle battle tank. Excellent job as always.

This Week’s Contest: Tri Force Heroes Story Predictions

The last two weeks has seen a whirlwind of Tri Force Heroes news and announcements. We’ve seen a new trailer, new stages, and tons of new costumes. But the most exciting news for me was the reveals we’ve seen regarding TFH‘s outrageous story and characters.

With Tri Force Heroes promising a goofy story where anything could conceivably happen, the contest this week is to construct a scene or story moment you hope to see in the game. Maybe you want to explore the fashion-centric kingdom of Dress Kingdom, or maybe you want to utilize new characters like Carl King. Whatever you decide, please make use of the recently released artwork in our gallery below or anything else you find on the internet.

General Rules:

  • Submit your entries in the comments section below.
  • To save images from the gallery, right click the image in the gallery (without opening the image in lightbox) and select open image in new tab. Go up to the address bar and delete __small from the URL. Hit enter, right click, and save!
  • Photoshop is not required to enter the contest. Any image manipulation software can be used to create your entry.
  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Informer. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Deadline: Submit entries no later than next Wednesday at midnight: 11:59 p.m. PST on September 16. Entries submitted after this Deadline will not be considered.

Challenge Mode

For those that who want to test their skills with something more challenging, we have a few Challenge Rules for you to follow:

1. Your entry must include at least 5 of the images in our gallery below.

2. Your entry must include a big stylish hat not included in the game’s artwork.

If you think you’re up to the challenge, include the phrase Challenge Accepted with your submission. Remember, Challenge Mode submissions follow the same rules and guidelines of the base Photoshop Contest in addition to the Challenge Rules.

Good luck!
