Photoshop Contest: Super Secret Stealth

It is Friday once again, meaning we’re kicking off another entry in Zelda Informer’s weekly Photoshop Contest. As you may have noticed from Monday’s Caption Contest, I’ve been looking for any way to shamelessly allude to this week’s release of Metal Gear Solid V. The Photoshop Contest is no exception. This week, the contest will involve the characters of the Zelda series engaging in steal missions and tactical espionage action. Head inside to start the operation and to also see the winners of last week’s contest: Free Week #4.

Last Week’s Contest:

Our monthly Free Week provided contestants with a few unique images to ‘shop with, many of them inspired by last week’s .gif post.

Challenge Mode

The challenge last week was randomly goofy. If contestants were inclined to accept, they would need to include a Poe in their entries as well as set Link aflame. Artist Sweswe was our Challenge Mode winner, submitting a rather lively Zelda house party. Some highlights include a heated Zelda-Link-Marth love triangle and a pleasant portrait of Shigeru Miyamoto. Great job.

This Week’s Contest: Super Secret Stealth

The Zelda series is no stranger to steal segments, asking the player to sneak around undetected by enemies and guards. Link infiltrated Hyrule Castle in both A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, and he successfully slipped by Moblins in The Wind Waker‘s Forsaken Fortress. These achievements in stealth prove that the characters of the Zelda series are capable of secret missions of cunning and espionage.

Contest briefing: your mission this week is to show a character of the Zelda series on a super secret stealth mission. The details of this mission are entirely up to you, so feel free to include any combination of sneaking, hiding, and infiltration. Your mission allows you to use anything from the internet to complete your submission, but you’re more than welcome to make use of the images in our gallery below.
