Breath of the Wild HD Testing Led to the Development of The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD

Both Twilight Princess HD and The Wind Waker HD are both solid remasters of already two amazing Zelda titles. Nintendo took what was already their and cranked it all the way up to 11. Not only do we have the Big N to thank for that, but apparently the newest title in the Zelda franchise too.
Hidemaro Fujibayashi, Takuhiro Dohta, and Satoru Takizawa of the Breath of the Wild developmental team was at this year’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) to talk about the process of making the game. During the panel, they confirmed that while they were doing some HD testing for the next Zelda title, it gave them inspiration.
That inspiration led directly to the production of both The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD. Some of the pics from this portion of the GDC panel can be seen in the gallery below.
