ZVS #3: Dimitri & Moosh

Link has been assisted by many partners and friends during the events of the series’ 25+ year long history. Some serve as modes of transportation while others act as friends and mentors for Link and sometimes they even act as both. But the question on our mind is, “Just who is the best partner?” Epona, Navi, Midna, and even the King of Red Lions have journeyed far and wide with Link, but who will come out on top as the best partner of all time?

Dimitri

One of the three animal friends Link meets inside the world of Holodrum and Labrynna, Dimitri is an odd and unique Dodongo that is capable of swimming through currents and up waterfalls. Capable of eating enemies and being thrown with the power bracelet, Dimitri stands out as a bit of an oddball among Zelda companions. After saving Dimitri from a group of Moblins, Dimitri and Link quickly bonded and became a loyal pair of friends.

Moosh

Despite his size, Moosh is not one to be held down. Capable of flight, Moosh came in handy during multiple portions of the Oracle duo filled with long and hard to maneuver chasms. Unlike Dimitri, Moosh can’t go into too deep of water though. Bigger isn’t always better, but in Moosh’s case, it certainly comes in handy! Link first encounters Moosh being bullied by a group of Moblins and with Link’s rescue, they quickly became friends.
