Zelda Theory: Breath of the Wild’s Forgotten Triforce

RMFH uploaded a new Zelda theory video on Breath of the Wild. His theory brings up and attempts to answer an interesting question: Did the people of Hyrule forget about the Triforce?

To begin answering his own question, RMFH notes the few references to the Triforce that are present in the game. He then observes the fact that the word “Triforce” is never explicitly mentioned to Link. Instead, whenever the Triforce is mentioned, it is known as the princess’s sacred power.

RMFH then theorizises that Breath of the Wild’s placement in the far future might have something to do with the change of terms. He argues that it would make sense for the Royal Family to hide the Triforce away in a princess, because then, people wouldn’t be fighting wars over the coveted golden power.
