Zelda References In Scott Pilgrim

It seems that the movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World contains quite a few Zelda references.

For those who don’t know, Scott Pilgrim vs The World is based on a comic book by the same name, and contains quite a few video game references in general. But it seems like they decided to make a few extra ones just for Zelda. Among them, one of the characters can be repeatedly seen and heard playing A Link to the Past on the GameBoy Advance, and several Zelda songs actually play during the movie.

I think the movie looks awesome personally, but aside from that, it’s great to see Zelda being referenced in popular culture outside of other Zelda games or video games in general. Have you seen the movie or intend to go see it? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
