Zelda Fanart Spotlight – Link’s Best Friend

Today’s Zelda Fanart Spotlight is on deviantART artist JulienLasbleiz‘s fanart, “Link’s Best Friend“. In this fanart it showcases two of the most well known characters from the Zelda series: Link and Epona. Link is riding atop Epona as they are traveling over a snowy landscape. The snow is billowing around the two companions as they move over the terrain.

Not entirely sure where their destination is, but I’m pretty sure it’s either to a dungeon or maybe to warm shelter to help protect them from the elements.

I love this picture. It’s very simplistic in its details and with just that little bit of what is featured it makes an excellent piece of art. Makes me wish I had a friend like Epona that I could ride in the wilderness with. I think that would be really fun.
