The ZD YouTube Crew is at is again with a new series called “Zelda Roulette.” Gooey, McKenna, Nico, and Corey venture into a unique play through of Ocarina of Time that the four of them will play together, but with some fun rules thrown in. Think of it as a team based event, but also a competition between each player. A little confused on the rules, well here’s an easy to follow breakdown for you:

The UNO cards being used are even Zelda themed! An example of how the game works is that if a player opens a chest and a small key is inside it has been assigned a point value of one. An UNO card is then drawn, and since a small key nets a player one card to be drawn and then that small key point value would be multiplied by the value of the card. You can see Nico’s visual and a more detailed explanation of this point system at the 2:08 mark in the video.

The ZD Team starts the game off with a file name of McGococo that combines all four of the players names together and then Gooey takes the lead as the first player. It doesn’t take very long for the players to start opening chests and wracking up points so be sure to check out the whole video to see who takes the lead at the end of the first segment of this new series.

There are plenty of surprises to be revealed as the series goes on so be sure to follow the series on Zelda Dungeon’s YouTube Channel and see what happens when a Wild UNO card is eventually drawn from the deck and to see who wins at the end of the game!
