Link-PlushI am a few weeks late in the announcement, but October 22nd marked the 4th year that our Wiki has been launched. We recently surpassed the 5,000 article mark and have continued expanding with the release of Tri Force Heroes, bringing our current total to 5,060 articles. We have been, albeit rather slowly, integrating links to our wiki throughout many of our specific guides and walkthroughs. Eventually things will be one of the same, where viewers are seamlessly moving between site, guides, and wiki.

With that we are relaunching our annual wiki giveaway. Pictured to the left is a Link plushie and we are giving it away to all new editors of the Wiki that make notable contributions. If you sign up for our wiki and make edits, you are guaranteed to get a plushie. It isn’t part of a contest or sweepstakes, it is a free giveaway. Make the jump for details.

A few notes about the giveaway.

  • New Members must Register at the Wiki, and make 25 edits.
  • Each edit must be somewhat substantial. (At least 1-2 sentences each).
  • There is a limit of 50 winners. Given the high number, it is almost a guarantee that you will get a free plush doll if you choose to participate. (Last year we had 22 winners when running the giveaway).
  • Interested participants should contact Mases directly. This can be either on Skype at armochicken13, via email at webmaster@zeldadungeon.net, or on my Wiki Talk Page.
  • Participants from all around the world are eligible.
  • The giveaway last from today through Christmas Day.

While this is a giveaway, this is also your chance to help make Zelda Dungeon better than it already is. We understand it takes time and effort to make solid contributions, perhaps that time and effort is worth more than the cost of a plushie. What we are really asking for, is for you to volunteer your time, and in return, get some benefit for it. As with previous giveways like such, we not only hope to get a surge of editors, but we hope to bring new blood into the family, and we hope that your involvement will extend beyond just these few weeks.

You can edit pretty much any page you’d like. However, if you are a bit stuck and not sure what to edit, here are two lists of pages that could be worked on.

  • Stubs: Short or Incomplete pages that need to be expanded or improved.
  • Wanted Pages: Pages that are linked to somewhere on the Wiki but a page does not exist. A new page can be created.
