Zelda Dungeon is now hiring… once again! Actually we are always taking new applications but this time around we are looking for specific people to help out with our Zelda related content. In recent months we’ve brought on board several news reporters and they have done a marvelous job. However, our content team still primarily consists of the same team members who have been handling things for years and we are hoping to add a few new staff members to the fold.

We have so many content projects going on behind the scenes simultaneously, with several new projects waiting to get started. In order to get some of these projects moving, we need some more help from you all. For full details on exactly what we are looking for, jump inside. Applicants should send an e-mail to me at webmaster@zeldadungeon.net or contact me directly on skype (armochicken13).

Guide Writers: This use to be a one-man job, where one person would write the guide, edit the text, capture the screenshots, crop out the various images, code out the guide format, and in some cases even handle the video guide. As the quality of our guides has expanded, so has the effort that goes into the creation of each guide. Each of our guides is now a multi-person project and we need your help! As of this moment, we are working on, touching up, or planning the creation for almost a dozen walkthroughs at the website. Depending on the game that you have interest in working on, you could help out with any of the following.

Writers: People that actually do the text writing for the guide. They are responsible for writing the entirety of the walkthrough as well as making any further changes based on suggestions from the editors.

Text Editors: Just as the name states, these are people that read through the writers work and edit the text. Editors will help improve the grammar, provide a better flow of the material presented, check to make sure all the information is factual, and provide any other insight on the guide.

Screenshot Team: After the text is ready to go, it will be placed on a placeholder page online where we will then need to decorate it with imagery. The screenshot team is responsible for capturing and editing screenshots for whichever game is being worked on. These workers will need to have a method of capturing high quality screenshots for whichever game they are working on. In some cases, we can provide the hardware needed for staff members that have shown quality effort in their work. NOTE: This position is in high demand.

Coders: These members will use the given templates that we have created in order to piece together the text, screenshots, and other images that are included in the guide. These members will need to have extensive knowledge in HTML, as well as an understanding as to how CSS works.

If you are interested in applying for any of these positions, please send me an e-mail at webmaster@zeldadungeon.net. Alternatively, you can contact me directly through Skype at my username armochicken13. When applying, please include your name, age, location, past experience, skype username, position you are applying for, and particular games you would like to work on. Alternatively, you can fill out the form we have on our Staff Openings page.

I’m looking forward to reading some of your applications! Also, if you are interested in helping out at the site in a capacity other than game content creation, feel free to apply anyway! We are always looking for dedicated staff members to add to the team.
