Zelda Artist Exposition: Glitcher

Suni Hello everyone and welcome again to Zelda Artist Exposition! As you all probably know by now, I write this editorial every other week to showcase artists from the realm of Zelda fan artwork (usually found on deviantART) with the goal of spreading art and exposing amazing artists. As always, please feel free to suggest artists to feature. I have a list I’ve compiled of artists to choose from, but it is always growing and shrinking so help is much appreciated. The only criteria is that the artist has multiple Zelda pieces and you think they are amazing. This installment might be shorter than the others because our featured artist is Glitcher. I vaguely remember Glitcher being suggested to me, but I must apologize because I do not remember the commenter that did so. Anyway, this will be short certainly not because Glitcher’s art isn’t great or he doesn’t update much, but most of his work isn’t Zelda based. So although the Zelda pieces he has done are fantastic, there sadly aren’t many to show you all.

However, he still more than deserves to be featured because he is a very good artist and he has done a lot in the video game fan art community. Glitcher, who also goes by Sky Pirate, has been on deviantART for an astounding 10 years, which may be the longest I have ever seen on a profile. His style is very distinct, although I can’t really explain it. His gallery is quite expansive despite what my description may have led you to believe. While his gallery features a lot of original content, fan artwork is featured most prominently. His fan art has covered Star Fox, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon, Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, and most prominently Mega Man. His original work is definitely worth checking out as well though.

Below are his two remaining, serious, Zelda pieces, the first one being my personal favorite.

As usual, thank you all for reading. I apologize that this one was a bit on the short side, but I felt that Glitcher’s time had come. So please check out his gallery linked below.
