DDRIt’s great that games get re-released on later platforms so a new generation of gamers can experience classic games from yester-year. Many of the Legend of Zelda games are available to download on the Wii U or 3DS but there have also been ports on other consoles like the GameCube releases of Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask and others. Of course, playing the game on a platform other than the one it was designed for means the controls need to be adapted for the new system. It seems as though some people like to take things one step further. YouTuber Super Scrub Brothers have managed to play part of Ocarina of Time using a DDR dance mat.

Various parts of the game have been done so see him fight Twinrova after the jump.

While it looks like he used a regular controller for some of the actions the dance mat that did most of it and is certainly an unusual way of playing it but it seemed to work pretty well. Even so, I can’t say I can see it catching on but would still be good to try out.

Would you give it a try? What other games would you liked to see played with a dance mat? Let us know in the comments below.
