Link is joining the cast of Mario Kart 8 next month, but it seems he timed his first foreray into racing at the perfect time to show off on the internet, as YouTube just launched support for 60 FPS videos. Currently it only supports HD videos and Google Chrome, but this is still a nice step forward for the #1 video hosting platform. Mario Kart TV is a method Nintendo has already included in Mario Kart 8 to share videos to YouTube, so it will be exciting to see all of your best Link races next month in that full 60fps.

Be sure you’re using the Chrome internet browser and set the above video to HD and enjoy. You can really see a nice difference over the old YT 30fps restriction. Are you excited to finally see Link is 60 fps everywhere?
