Would You Rather: Edition IV

Would You RatherWelcome back to Would You Rather! Last week we discussed the magical masks of Majora’s mask,  which is a super fun topic. If you missed out, never fear! You can check out last week’s edition here. This week we’re bringing together two items that can be overlooked if a player happens to be unfamiliar with earlier Zelda titles, but even if you missed out on these games you are just as able to participate as ever. Hit the jump to read more!

Sometimes we all wish we could take advantage of such items as the “Drink Me” potions found in Alice and Wonderland so we could shrink, become giants or just get away. We also commonly complain about the season, regardless of which it is. Too much rain, heat, snow, or too many leaves to rake. The items this week will address these issues effortlessly and be the source of fun and comfort.

Ezlo v. Rod of Seasons

Would You Rather - Edition IV

In The Minish Cap Link finds himself acquainted with a magical character/hat, Ezlo, who shrinks him to about the size of a peanut, allowing him access to tiny entryways, endless puddle-ponds and more. Oracle of Seasons provides us with the Rod of Seasons, which can magically change the season to whatever you want, and with handy tree stumps nearby, you could change it almost whenever you want to. See below for a list of attributes for both items.

Ezlo

  • Shrinks you down to fun size!
  • Never stops talking in your ear
  • Provides an easy getaway if you don’t want to be bothered
  • Would allow you to discover a ton about life in miniature
  • You could probably become the most famous entomologist in the world

Rod of Seasons

  • Can make it spring, summer, fall or winter whenever you want
  • The seasonal change will only apply to your general area and not a affect a wide radius.
  • You would be getting the fully powered rod, so you wouldn’t have to save the world in order to charge it with the powers of all the seasons
  • It looks a lot like a scepter, so you could probably use it for cosplay
  • In order to use it, you have to be standing on a tree stump, so you couldn’t just wave it around wherever and whenever you wanted

Both of these items could solve some issues we all have in our own lives. You could say that this is a very practical edition, as we would all find great use in the cap and the rod. But which would you prefer? To be tiny and practically invisible, or to potentially live in a permanent climate that suits you just right? Let us know in the comments!
