The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a solid game from a coding perspective, as it is currently the only Zelda entry without a single sequence break in the game. However, while it is currently impossible to sequence break Breath of the Wild legitimately, that hasn’t stopped Shesez, the YouTube creator of series such as Sequence Break and Boundary Break, from using hacks to try. Granted, Breath of the Wild is fairly open in terms of what players can do and where players can go, though there are still some scripted events that must be done to progress through the game.

What is especially interesting about sequence breaking for Breath of the Wild is the fact that Nintendo went out of their way to account for any sequence breaks, ranging from telling the player to go back and get the runes at the beginning of the game to having a mechanic where the Master Sword supposedly returns to the forest when it is dropped, though the latter only happens when using a glitch to duplicate items.

But what do you think? Do you think a true sequence break will be discovered for Breath of the Wild (reminiscent of the Wind Waker‘s infamous Barrier Skip)? Let us know in the comments below!
