Summer Games Done Quick 2017 (SGDQ2017) officially ended last Saturday evening, having raised $1,792,632 for Doctors Without Borders, which set a new summer record. One of the many games included during the event was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, added in as a donation incentive. The category used during the marathon was the Any% category. The goal of an Any% speed run is to finish the game in the fastest time possible, using any known glitches and exploits. In Breath of the Wild‘s case, that currently means that the runner must finish the Great Plateau (the starting area) and then immediately head to the final boss in Hyrule Castle. The route requires quite a lot of practice, and it is amazing to see the runner finish it under 50 minutes.

But what do you guys think of the run? Were you excited to see Breath of the Wild included in SGDQ2017? Let us know in the comments below!
