The Legend of Zelda series has a track record of creating stunningly beautiful locations. One of the most beautiful, in my opinion, is Outset Island from The Wind Waker. It is easily the place I would want to live in if the Zelda universe was real life. While Outset Island is not a real location, this YouTube video by North of the Border brings the iconic area to life with this replica diorama.

North of the Border has a collection of various craft videos that replicate symbols, locations, and characters from numerous series. Of those offered, this video of Outset Island being crafted shows his level of mastery. The eighteen minute video documents the process of creating Link’s home turf without missing a detail.

North of the Border accompanies his crafting with seamless voice over that explains the process and gives information on how he uses different materials to create this amazing diorama. If you’re crafty yourself, use the video to guide you in your own process of replicating Outset Island! Or if you’re anything like me, sit back and relax and watch in awe as North of the Border masterfully recreates Outset Island from The Wind Waker. Make sure to check out his YouTube channel here to see all of the other amazing dioramas the channel has to offer!
