It is Wind Waker week at Zelda Dungeon, and Tier Force Heroes are back with a new video dedicated to the beloved GameCube classic. In this extensive new video, the crew ranks the islands from The Wind Waker. For this new topic, Tier Force Heroes have added a unique names for each of the tier rankings. S-Tier is “SHIVER ME TIMBERS,” A-Tier is “Aargh, this island is dope,” B-Tier is “Boy, I like this island,” C-Tier is “Could maybe sail by this one,” and D-Tier is “Don’t even drop anchor here.”

For this special discussion of The Wind Waker, the islands that are variations on the same concept (Reefs, Fairy Islands, and Triangle Islands) are all discussed collectively. Overall, the crew praises The Wind Waker for creating a variety of interesting locations to explore, and Nico calls Windfall Island one of the best hub areas in a Zelda game. One of the choices that the Tier Force Heroes made is to not factor the locations of dungeons too much into the tier rankings of each island. For example, while Gale Island and Headstone Island are the locations of the Wind Temple and Earth Temple respectively, there is almost nothing for the player to do on these islands besides exploring the dungeons. In contrast, locations like Dragon Roost Island and Forest Haven have a variety of secret to uncover outside of simply housing a dungeon.
